Locating the lockbox to add in your hardware
Before fitting your hardware, it’s important to correctly identify the location of the lockbox in your Rapid Fibreglass Door:
- Find the ‘LOCK’ Stamp: Look at the bottom edge of the door — the corner marked with the ‘LOCK’ stamp indicates the side where the internal lockbox is positioned.
- Confirm Door Orientation: Ensure the door is facing the correct way before proceeding. The ‘LOCK’ stamp helps identify the lock side, while the opposite bottom corner (with a small hole) indicates the hinge side.
- Use the Lockbox Template: Use the full-size template provided in the product packaging to accurately mark out where to drill or cut for your hardware. Important: The lockbox diagram in the user manual is not to scale. Do not use it as a cutting guide. Always use the physical template or measure manually.

Following these steps will help ensure your hardware aligns perfectly with the built-in lockbox for a secure, professional finish.
